A Little Info About Myself
Hi everybody, and welcome to my new blog! My name is Matt Lloyd, and I’m a freelance Graphic Designer. I work under my company, Moore Spark Graphic Design (my middle name is Moore), and I specialize in branding, full identity packages, and print design. I’m from Alaska (although I live in Colorado now), I’m 31, I have a dog named Gaia Bryn Clovertons, a cat named Maximus Meowy Whiskertons, and an amazing fiancee’ named Kari. I have a degree in graphic design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and have been designing professionally for about 5 years.
What is The Spark?
Well, I’ve wanted to create a blog for my business for a while now, and figured there’s no time like the present. The Spark will be a resource for me to share some of my technical knowledge about design and software usage (in case you’ve ever wanted to know the basics of Digital Image Manipulation), provide an outlet for some of my design-related rants and raves (misspellings on billboards, e.g.), and strategies and insights to help small business succeed through proper design and marketing. I also plan on using the blog to help spread the word about my clients, so you never know what you might come across.
Let’s Build Something Together
I want The Spark to grow into a thriving community, so feel free to leave any comments to further any discussion. I’d love to hear from you for suggestions on topics, client ideas, or just to chat so please send me an email or just leave a comment, I’ll see it. Also, if you’d like to see whether I’m qualified to be running at the mouth about design, you can take the time to go check out my portfolio. I’m very excited to see how The Spark is going to grow and where this could lead us in the future. Cheers!
